GETTING STARTED / VMESH

Get started with VargaMesh

Your entry point to the open VargaMesh mainnet, from a first self-custody wallet to an independently verifiable transaction.

What is VargaMesh?

VargaMesh is an independent open-source Proof-of-Work blockchain with the native asset VMESH. Derived from Bitcoin Core technology, it uses SHA-256d, a 120-second target block interval and AuxPoW merged-mining support. VMESH is not an ERC-20 token or a Bitcoin testnet asset.

Start in four steps

  1. Choose a wallet. Start with the WebWallet or a desktop client.
  2. Create a receiving address. Native mainnet Bech32 addresses begin with vm1. Back up recovery information offline.
  3. Obtain VMESH. Choose a mining path matching your equipment or a separately agreed contribution reward. Network participation does not require an exchange account.
  4. Verify on-chain. Check the transaction ID or block height in the public explorer.

Before you begin

  • Never share private keys or recovery words with anyone.
  • Blockchain payments generally cannot be reversed; start with small test amounts.
  • Mining is probabilistic, consumes electricity and does not guarantee a reward or financial value.
